She Talks to Birds

There under our skin beats galaxies waiting,

To be flown into with bird like precision and joy,

We will flock together

Birds of a feather

And sing heaven knows better.

She gifts us the Winter to yearn for the Spring

We first go under then bring

Ourselves open to Summer

And forever Autumn fall into each other.

Spiraling, dashing, under, over, around and through

Every bird you sing to.

She talks to the birds

Of course she sings

She looks human

She camouflages her wings

There under our imagination wings waiting

To be flying with pure effortless joy

We will flock together

Birds of a feather

She gifts us loneliness to know togetherness

We go broken then to bring

Ourselves opening to each's tenderness

Forever we shall sing

Spiraling, dashing, under over, around and through

Every birds sings to you

She warns the little birds

Of course she sings

She looks divine

She spreads her wings
